Meet Sophya Dragos, owner of Coffee Mounds in Long Beach, MS!

Sophya has always run businesses for other people and knew she one day wanted to start one of her own. She was a bartender for many years and loved it. She loves the interactions with customers & creativity of creating new drinks, so it was a natural transition. In early 2022, she & her husband, Vince, came up with the concept for their business, and on October 19, 2022, they opened for their first day in their mobile coffee shop in the parking lot of The Corner Drug Store in Long Beach. They now have a brick & mortar-- where they are today-- but still run out of the trailer, as well, in various locations. 

I love my daily chats with them when I get my coffee! They are the kindest people, and going there just feels like having coffee with friends-- plus, their coffee-

making skills are top notch. 🤌 They whip up some tasty & creative drinks, especially with all the yummy fall drinks right now. Stop by and give one a try.
